Ice Skating Instruction Available Through Hilltop Recreation Center
Posted on July 9, 2010
Three four-week ice skating courses are available to Rancho Penasquitos residents through the recreation center at Hilltop Community Park.
During the ice skating sessions, students will learn how to balance, glide smoothly, skate forward and backward, stop — and a few tricks. The three four-week sessions, for both “tots (3-5 years old) and “youth” (6-17 years old) are: July 7-28, Aug., 4-25, and Sept. 8-29. Fee is $40, which includes skate rental.
Instructors for the sessions, which are held at the San Diego Ice Arena at 11048 Ice Skate Place in Mira Mesa, are Ann Daniels and Sara Lovejoy. Register at the Hilltop Community Park Recreation Center or call 858-538-8198 for more information.
